While enjoying an afternoon in downtown Bangor this young lady found a larger than life version of her popular rock sculptures. Art is all around us!

Tuesday, July 11th A morning well spent in Art! Visit The Rock and Art Shop on Friday, August 4th to see this gentlemen’s finished product.

Thursday, July 6th

Artist continued to build and shape ceramic flower pots. Each pot is different and unique to the individual who created them!

From research to shopping and sanding to building, this young lady is determined to accomplish her goal of creating a doll house. You rock!

Encompassing our Values

These artists continued to work on the values mural. Each artist traced their hand and wrote their thoughts about different values. “I care about myself” for dignity and “hands off” for boundaries. Great job!

Thursday, June 22nd

Voyage: In the morning Voyage volunteered with Meals on Wheels and worked on their goals in the afternoon. Art with Alison was also offered. Encompass: All members enjoyed an afternoon at Swan Lake State Park this afternoon!

Friday, June 16th

Voyage: Art with Alison was offered the entire day for Voyage artist. A trip to the YMCA in the morning and Farmer Market booth set up was also offered. Encompass: Culinary was offered the entire day for Encompass. A trip to the YMCA in the morning and a movie in the afternoon were offered.

Thursday, June 15th

Voyage: In the morning Voyage worked on their goals in the community and also played in a board game tournament. In the afternoon planning committee was offered as well as a trip to a local park. Voyage: Art with Alison was offered all day for Voyage members. A trip to the YMCA in the morning and Billiards in the afternoon was also offered. Encompass: Culinary was offered all day for Encompass members. A trip to the YMCA in the morning and Family Fun Lanes in the afternoon was offered.

Tuesday, June 13th

Voyage: Today all Voyage members chose community activities! In the morning members volunteered with Meals on Wheels. In the afternoon they bowled at Family Fun Lanes. Encompass: Some Encompass members enjoyed a full day of Art with Alison. Other members worked on their goals in the community then visited Sunny Hill Stable.
